Dr. Corning received her doctor of medicine degree from George Washington University. She completed her general surgery residency at University of Arizona, and her colon and rectal surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida.
Dr. Corning is a native Wisconsinite who moved back to Tucson to join Southwestern Surgery, after spending time as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Chicago. Her surgical focus is advanced laparoscopic surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery including inflammatory bowel disease, colon and rectal carcinoma and diverticular disease. She also focuses on anorectal surgery including rectal prolapse, hemorrhoids, anal fissures, anal cancer, pelvic floor dysfunction and fecal incontinence.
Participating with most major health plans, Dr. Corning is accepting new patients. She is affiliated with St. Joseph’s hospital, Tucson Medical Center and Camp Lowell Surgery Center.
